The Parent Category is the main category.
If you wish to create a sub category, follow the steps for creating a main category, but choose an existing main category from the Parent Category field. Choosing a specific Parent Category means the new category you are creating will fall under the Parent Category.

You can then view the subcategory

You view/edit/delete any Parent Category or Sub Category at any time by using the three icons to the right of the categories.
